Goldwork Sampler
This 2 day workshop will be an exploration of traditional goldwork techniques in addition to a few less conventional methods. Using a wide selection of goldwork supplies, beads and other “golden” products, you’ll have the opportunity to choose the elements you enjoy the most to create your own unique sampler. The workshop will include:
- How to create and transfer your sampler design
- Cutwork technique
- Couching technique
- Working with a wide variety of metals and wires
- Applying kid leather
- Creating padded goldwork
- Experimental techniques include metal sheets and goldleaf
- Adding beads and spangles
